Option 1. Plate and screw fixation
Pros:
a. Early movement can be given
b. Quicker recovery and return to normal activities
Cons:
a. May not be possible in badly comminuted fracture
b. May require second surgery for implant removal
Option 2. Replacement
Pros:
a. Early movement can be given
b. Quick recovery and return to normal activities
Cons:
a. May result in some stiffness of elbow
b. May require second surgery to remove implant
Option 3. Radial Head Excision
Pros:
a. Can be done in badly comminuted fractures
b. Can be done in old fractures
Cons:
a. Some elbow instability may persist
